Clean Energy Group:
U.S. State Renewable Energy Funds: Leading the Way on Renewable Energy Investment in the United States

State-level clean energy funds are the leading source of renewable energy investment in the United States. Together, the 17 funds of the Clean Energy States Alliance represent over $3 billion in public investment for renewable energy and fuel cells over the next decade. State fund managers from California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin will discuss innovations in state clean energy funding programs and emerging best practices. They will give updates on state & regional initiatives, climate change policies and renewable portfolio standards. These states want to work on technology-specific issues with international counterparts to exchange best practices and translate first generation RE practices and programmes into real financing opportunities and a lasting infrastructure for collaboration. This event is hosted by Clean Energy Group, with generous support from the Heinrich Boell Foundation and the Oak Foundation.
