renewables 2004: Website is up
International Conference for Renewable Energies in Bonn 2004 is in preparation

7 July 2003. The Internet site for the International Conference for Renewable Energies is going online - 11 months before the start of the Conference. At www.renewables2004.de, Internet users will find all of the important information about the Conference, which is to take place June 1-4, 2004, in Bonn. Chancellor Gerhard Schr�der extended an invitation to the Conference in September 2002 in Johannesburg at the World Summit on Sustainable Development.
The Web site is to serve as a major platform for information. From now on, preparatory documents for the Conference will be published and discussed at this address. In addition, the Web site already offers data and facts about the Conference and about events relevant to the topic of renewable energy and development in the international context.
The Web site appears in English in line with the international character of the Conference. The most important information and press releases will also be posted on the German pages of the Web site.
