Preparatory documents
Participants of renewables 2004 will receive a
Conference Issue Paper which will help to focus discussions at
the conference following the three key issues and embed renewables
2004 in the wider political discourse and process concerning
sustainable development. It will also serve as input for formulating
ultimate conference output. The Conference Issue Paper is drawing on
the results of the regional preparatory meetings as well as on the
advice of the International Steering Committee and further public
consultation.

broad range of topics concerning the promotion of renewable energies

the international political and professional debate. The thematic

published under the authors names.

in a more efficient and sustainable energy system, and including
agreements on a follow-up process.

for developing renewable energies.

increased coherence of the policy strategies employed.
