Global Network on Energy for Sustainable Development (GNESD): GNESD Outcomes and the Role of Renewable Energy Technologies in Poverty Alleviation The Side event will start with a presentation of the GNESD as a possible future contribution for international knowledge generation and sharing. This will be followed by a presentation of the current themes of �Energy Access� and �Renewable Energy Technologies� as examples of successful knowledge generation and sharing among GNESD Member Centres. All GNESD Member Centres from developing countries will thereafter give a short presentations of Energy Access conference papers with examples of how Network activities have benefited local work on renewable energy technologies in their sub-region. This will be followed by a discussion.
